# Deployment Options

Sandbox0 Cloud is the supported service. Self-hosting is no longer supported. Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) is planned and is not available yet.

## Sandbox0 Cloud

Use the [quickstart](/docs/sandbox/get-started) to connect your application or
agent to Sandbox0 Cloud. The SDKs and `s0` CLI default to `https://api.sandbox0.ai`.
Sandbox0 operates the runtime and infrastructure for this service.

## Self Host Is No Longer Supported

Self Host support ended on October 16, 2026. Sandbox0 no longer provides
supported self-hosted installation, configuration, upgrade, or maintenance
guides. Current runtime development is closed source.

The [historical Apache-2.0 repository](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/sandbox0)
and its [old deployment documentation](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/sandbox0/tree/main/docs/self-hosted)
remain available as a read-only archive. They receive no updates, bug fixes,
or security fixes. Previously granted licenses remain unchanged.

## Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) Is Planned

BYOC is planned as a future way to run Sandbox0 in your own cloud account.
It is not available yet. No launch date has been announced.

## Source Code And Clients

Current Sandbox0 runtime development is closed source. The
[s0 CLI](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/s0) and
[Go](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/sdk-go),
[JavaScript/TypeScript](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/sdk-js), and
[Python](https://github.com/sandbox0-ai/sdk-py) SDKs remain open source.
